What happened to my previous project/ goal?

There are three places where you can see your project and goal information:

1. The Featured Project box on the Dashboard
2. The Projects Page
3. The Goals Tab for a specific project

When a writer creates a new project or goal, the new project and/or goal is what is visible on the Dashboard, in the Featured Project box. Sometimes, people mistakenly think their previous project has been overwritten or erased, but it still exists!

 

Here are instructions for navigating to these pages: 

 

The first is the Featured Project box on the Dashboard, where you can see your most recent active project. This is where you land when you click on NaNoWriMo at the top of the page. 

 

 

If you click on My NaNoWriMo > Projects, you will go to a page where you can see all of your previous projects.

 

 

This is what the Projects Page looks like. You can see it is in chronological order according to the most recent goals.

 

But what happened to a goal you worked on for a project in the past? It is still in your project history! 

Just click on the name of the project to go to the page for a specific project, then click on the Goals tab.

 

 

Voila! Now you know where to find your previous projects and previous goals!
