Something folks should know about our staffing page is that it has historically been used to acknowledge the people we view as "our team", whether they were actual staff or not. Of the 14 people who appeared on our staff page last year, only five were full-time employees; seven were part-time or seasonal; and two were contractors who worked periodically. In other words, 14 people listed on our staff page never represented 14 full-time, year-round employees. They represented 10.1 employees if you add up their hours.
In the future, we expect to have fewer employees, but to have the employees who are with the organization working full-time. A smaller, more dedicated workforce is a strategic decision, not a sign of distress. Some positions have been eliminated since November; others that appear to be vacant will be retained. We are reworking the organization structure and rewriting the job descriptions for open roles.
